Applications for our 2019 Holiday Market will open midnight October 3rd.

Applications close midnight October 10th.

All applicants will be notified by October 20th.

Applications close midnight October 11th and vendors will be notified by email the 17th.  Please add marketobscura@gmail.com to your address book so you don’t miss an email from us.

 

For this Holiday Market, we will be adding a few new features: Obscura Gallery (a pop-up art gallery/consignment shop within the event for artists who cannot be there in person), more experience booths, a DJ, and a full bar with specialty Market Obscura cocktails!

 

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING.

There are two separate application options. You can only apply to one option, the Market or the Gallery. Details for each are below.

 

APPLY TO BE A VENDOR IN THE MARKET

 

Vendor space sizes: You will be able to select your first and second choice booth sizes. If you can only work within one booth size, please choose it twice. [Booth spaces are listed as Width'x Depth']

  • 4x5’ booth space: $50 – appx. 14 available

  • 6x5’ booth space: $75 – appx. 19 available

  • 8x5’ booth space: $100 – appx. 5 available

  • 8x8’ booth space: $125 – 3 available

  • Tarot Reader: $50 (6x6’ space) – 3 available for tarot readers/mediums/psychics/palmistry professionals or other experiences.

  • Photo Booth: $80 (8x8’ space) – 1 available for photo booth/tin type/aura photography professionals

 

Please be prepared to have at least one photo of your booth set up from a previous event.

If you have not vended at any market before and do not have a picture of a booth set up, you can send us a photo of an example of your set up or an arrangement of your products.

 

You will also need at least one promotional photo for us to use to promote you on social media. Due to the sizing requirements of those platforms, photos need to be in a square format.

 

TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK FOR THE OBSCURA GALLERY

To get to the application, click the “Apply to the Obscura Gallery”

Be prepared with the following information before starting the application. You will not be able to save your progress.

  • Studio Name

  • Website link

  • Facebook link

  • Instagram link

  • Email

  • Phone

  • Address

  • Up to 5 crisp, well-lit product photos with descriptions & price range of item(s) for each

If your work is accepted into the Obscura Gallery, Market Obscura will retain, as commission, 35% of your gross sales.  You will also be responsible for paying 100% of all shipping costs, both to and from the event, or delivering and picking up your merchandise.
